Feels So Good: Screenprinting, Apparel, and Good Times!

Feels So Good grew from a neighborhood screenprinting shop into one of Austin’s most recognizable creative hubs. Equal parts print shop, retail store, music venue, and cultural space, the brand moved fluidly between apparel, live events, artist collaborations, record releases, and large-scale festival programming. It was fast, scrappy, and constantly evolving and the creative had to keep up.

Project Highlight

Feels So Good: Southern Pleasures #1

One of the most ambitious projects I helped lead at Feels So Good was the brand’s first retrospective print magazine — a collaborative, culture-driven publication built to document the world orbiting the shop. Working alongside Erica Sparks, Simone Thornton, Justin Prince, and a wide range of local contributors, we created something that felt equal parts music journal, fashion zine, art book, and community time capsule. The magazine featured interviews with artists like Urban Heat, JD Clark, and The Pinky Rings, alongside editorial fashion shoots, playlists, recipes, poetry, local artwork, and summer cavern day trips — all tied together through a distinctly East Austin lens. I led the creative direction and design of the publication from concept through production, shaping a project that reflected the spirit of the community we were building around.

Organized Chaos…

I started as an in-house designer and eventually stepped into a broader creative leadership role, wearing just about every hat along the way. The work ranged from merch, packaging, and campaign design to festival identities, pop-ups, environmental graphics, and promotional rollouts for partners including Resound and Levitation.

Over time, I helped lead and manage a multidisciplinary creative team of designers, illustrators, writers, and social media talent while building systems that could handle a nonstop output without losing personality, cohesion, or edge.
